Our cricket girls played a match against Muizenberg High today.
MHS won the toss and chose to field. BHTS restricted MHS to 44 for 3 in 15 overs. Xena Sampear and Chazrin Niemand bowled spells of 1 for 9 and 1 for 6, respectively, in three overs.
Xena Sampear stood out with the bat as well as with an unbeaten 12 to help carry BHTS to a six wicket win against their opponents.

Our Hattie Cricket Girls beat Bellville High School
Bellville High School won the toss and chose to field first during their match yesterday. BHTS scored 121 for 5 in their allotted 20 overs. Sinelethu Yaso top scored with 20 runs.
BHTS bowled out Bellville High School for 47 in 8.5 overs. Lilitha Bakubaku destroyed the opposition claiming 5 for 2 in 2.5 overs. With Phawulwethu Tofu and Sinelethu Yaso claiming 2 for 13 in 4 overs and 1 for 8 in 2 overs respectively.
BHTS won by a staggering 74 runs.

HATTIES GIRLS CRICKET TEAM BEATS PRESIDENT HIGH SCHOOL
Result : BHTS won by 24 runs
Yesterday, President High won the toss and sent our girls in to bat first. In our 20 overs we scored 68-5 with Xena Sampear top scoring with 14.
The visitors got bowled out for 44 with our strike bowler being Sinelethu Yaso taking 4-5 (4 overs). Phawulwethu Tofu and Xena Sampear also chipped in with two wickets each. Well done girls, we are proud of you! 5 February 2019
